Top 5 Business Apps on Android in Oman Q3 2021

Throughout the third quarter of 2021, the top business apps on the Android platform in Oman showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends of the top 5 apps: Zoom Workplace, Google Meet (original), Microsoft Teams, omanoil, and Dawam.

Zoom Workplace experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at approximately 7.3K in late June and dropping to around 2.6K by the end of August. However, a notable recovery occurred in September, peaking at about 6K downloads. Active users also demonstrated variability, beginning the quarter at 63.3K, dipping to 44.3K in mid-July, and ending strong at 66.9K by the end of September.

Google Meet (original) saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from 3.8K in late June and reaching a low of 2.1K by the end of August. Nevertheless, an upward trend was observed in September with downloads climbing back to nearly 4K. Active users showed a consistent increase from 36.5K to 50.4K throughout the quarter.

Microsoft Teams displayed a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at 2.7K in late June, reaching approximately 4.9K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting from 75.8K and peaking at 88.8K in mid-September, before stabilizing at around 87.9K by the quarter's end.

omanoil showed relatively stable weekly downloads with slight fluctuations. Downloads ranged from 1.2K in late June, hitting lows around 450 in late September, with occasional peaks such as 1.2K in mid-August.

Dawam had a significant surge in weekly downloads, especially in early August, peaking at 3.4K. The downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending with a notable peak of 5.2K in the last week of September.
